Advising Solvay on the €1bn sale to Blackstone of its Acetow business, which has operations in, among other places, Europe, US, Brazil and Russia.
Advising LANXESS on its synthetic rubber joint venture with Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco).
Advising Advent International on the carve-out and acquisition of Evonik Industries' methacrylates business, a deal valued at €3bn.
Advising BASF on its acquisition of significant components of Bayer’s seed and herbicide businesses, which Bayer intends to divest ahead of its planned acquisition of Monsanto.
The assets BASF acquired included Bayer’s global non-selective herbicide business and certain seed businesses for key row crops in select jurisdictions.
Advising BASF on the combination of its oil and gas business, Wintershall, in a joint venture with DEA, the oil and gas business of LetterOne.
Advising Messer Group and CVC on their $3.2bn acquisition of certain divestiture assets of Linde in the US, Colombia, Canada and Brazil, and certain assets of Praxair in Chile.
Advising Clariant on establishing chemberry.com, a platform for connecting buyers and suppliers of specialty chemicals used in consumer products.
