Katharina-Sophia Rieger is a member of our Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) group.
She specialises in advising on matters relating to freedom of expression, in particular in the fields of new media and the press. She also advises companies on the EU’s digital strategy, and national and international media companies on operational, commercial and regulatory issues.
Katharina-Sophia speaks German, English, French and Spanish.

- Legal traineeship at the Berlin Court of Appeal, Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg, a leading law firm for matters relating to press law and freedom of expression, and the German Embassy in Tokyo
- Law studies at the University of Freiburg, the University of Cádiz (Spain), and the University of Hamburg
