About

Max regularly advises on the most complex cross-border private M&A transactions, multinational carve-outs and joint ventures. Named as a rising star in carve-outs and M&A (JUVE Handbook 2024/25), he combines a commercial mindset with deep expertise in the industrials sector, particularly in chemicals and aerospace/defence.

Max advises both corporate clients and financial sponsors, providing comprehensive counsel that simplifies complexity and enables clear-headed decision-making under pressure. His experience in post-M&A litigation further enhances clients’ ability to manage risk throughout the entire lifecycle of a transaction. Max is a strong advocate of the firm’s development and use of legal tech solutions, enabling large project teams to work across jurisdictions in the most efficient and cost-saving manner.

In addition to his transactional work, Max is also engaged in the firm’s strategic risk and crisis management practice.

Max is fluent in German, English and French.
