Apoorv is an Associate in our Global Transactions group in Singapore. He advises private equity firms and MNCs on a broad range of corporate transactions. His experience spans across various sectors, including technology, electric vehicles, food and beverages, telecom, mining and energy.
Prior to joining Freshfields, Apoorv was an Associate at one of India's leading law firms in Delhi where he was part of the Corporate practice group and advised clients on domestic and cross-border M&A and Capital Markets transactions.
Apoorv is fluent in Hindi and English.

- KKR-led consortium of KKR (on behalf of funds managed by it) and Singtel on its S$1.75bn (approx. US$1.3bn) investment in ST Telemedia Global Data Centres.
- SAR Group on its strategic investment in Orxa Energies Private Limited, a high-performance electric motorcycles and energy systems manufacturing company based in India.
- REEL, a French industrial group specializing in material handling and lifting systems on the Indian legal aspects of its acquisition of the aluminum business of Metso Outotec Oyj, a Finnish company.
- McDonald’s Corporation on the acquisition of 50% of the equity share capital of Connaught Plaza Restaurants, the former joint venture of McDonald’s in North and East-India.
- Dana Incorporated on Indian aspects of its acquisition of the drive systems segment of the Oerlikon Group, a Swiss technology conglomerate (US$600 million).
- Penguin Random House India, a multi-national publishing company, on its acquisition of Hind Pocket Books, one of the oldest local language publishers in India.
- Aavishkaar Bharat Fund in the Series E funding round raised by Connect India, a logistics provider for e-commerce companies operating across India.
- Aakash Educational Services Limited and its promoters on the sale of 37.5% of its equity shares and investments in 100% of its DVR shares.
- Bertelsmann India Investments on its investment in a Bengaluru, India based tech-logistics solutions provider, LetsTransport.
- Embassy Office Parks REIT, India’s first listed real estate investment trust, and its manager, Embassy Office Parks Management Services Private Limited, on its purchase of assets of Embassy TechVillage, a large-scale integrated office park located in Bengaluru, India for an aggregate consideration of U.S.$1.3 billion.
- Vodafone Group on the merger of Indus Towers Limited and Bharti Infratel Limited.
